Remote IFSP meetings are more convenient for both families and service coordinators. You can get everything accomplished via remote meetings the same way you get it accomplished via in-person.

IFSP meetings turning remote was the best thing that could have happened to OSCs/SCs and families. Many families don't have the money or means to travel for a meeting and have found phone conversations to be much more efficient. For us employees, we have worked effectively this way for the past 2 years and have been able to accomplish much more this way. Covid is also still out there and protecting our safety as well as the safety of our families is important and should not be up for debate.

Virtual meetings work into my schedule way better and protect our child from Covid since they are pending vaccination.

This seems like an unnecessary burden for families when zoom and phone calls have proven to work successfully for the past 2+ years.

This will cause a lot of barriers for caregivers of children in EI to access these services. Please keep the virtual option for these meetings so more caregivers have access to this vital service.
