I am starting this petition to get as many signatures as we can by October 1, 2015. Let's show the greedy corporate managers that the sales they make on Thanksgiving is not the reason for the season and that families and friends need to be together.
I know that the police, fire, EMS, and hospital workers all work on these days but we the people can show them how much we support them and appreciate what they do. But, there is NO reason except GREED for retailers to be open Thanksgiving or Christmas.
I am including convenience stores as well if you cannot remember to get gas, cigarettes, or whatever you think you need before Thanksgiving or Christmas Day then too bad.
We need to get back to caring for the people and the people standing up for each other instead of letting the corporate/political greed take over our lives like we are doing.
