Harshita Sahil Arora, who has turned 16 years old in July 2025, currently residing in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Harshita is a bright young individual who has already begun to build her life here in Canada. We have been informed that there is possibility of Harshita not being allowed to stay in Canada. We want to present Immigration Canada that removing Harshita from Canada and separating her from her life here would be very difficult for her, her family, her friends, and her community.

We request Immigration Canada not to put Harshita in a distressing situation and we, further, want to persuade Immigration Canada to consider granting her permanent residence based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds.

Harshita is a sixteen-year-old citizen of India. Since arriving in Canada, she has embraced her education and has begun to thrive academically and socially. Canada has become her home, and her life and future are being built here. What makes her application deeply compelling is her family situation. Harshita's only sister lives here in Canada, and that relationship is both her emotional anchor and financial support. The two sisters rely heavily on one another. Separating them would not only cause emotional devastation but would also strip Harshita of the stability and care she needs at such a critical stage of her life. Returning to India would mean uprooting her from the home, education, and support system she now depends on. It would sever her bond with her only sibling and place her in a position of profound hardship and insecurity.

Those of us who know Harshita personally, as well as those who have learned of her story, are moved by her resilience and determination. She is kind, hardworking, and eager to contribute positively to Canadian society. She has shown courage in adapting to a new country, making friends, and building a future here.

It goes without saying that, after her time spent towards establishing herself here, Canada has become her one and true home. Her establishments, associations, and accomplishments have been here. We support her aspirations and request that she is allowed to stay where she belongs. Please let her continue working towards building her future in Canada, a place that she already calls home. Removing her from Canada would cause a distressing situation for her. We do not want to lose such a compassionate and driven individual; her full potential is yet to be uncovered.

We also recognize the importance of family unity. Canada is a country that values compassion, diversity, and support for the vulnerable. To force Harshita to leave her sister behind and return to a place where she no longer has the same opportunities, community ties, or emotional security would run contrary to these values. The pleas for the humanitarian and compassionate grounds application rest greatly in the best interests of Harshita and her family. If removed from Canada and forced to return to India, we know that Ms. Arora would experience considerable dislocation, and it would cause her painstaking efforts to re-establish herself in the country, if that were even possible. If she is not accorded permanent residence, Harshita and her family would experience considerable hardships.

Ms. Arora has become an integral part of our community, actively contributing to its growth and diversity. Her dedication to building connections with people from various backgrounds has enriched our community, fostering an environment of equality and respect. She has invested her time, effort, and resources into Canada, and her commitment goes beyond personal gain. Harshita has undergone an ordeal which, on normal accounts, will cause a person to break down. She, however, stands apart from the crowd. Despite the ordeal she has undergone, she has not given up the zeal and drive to be able to pursue her dreams and stay close to her sister here in Canada. We empathize and sympathize with her situation and request that emphasis be paid to her family, her age, and her unique circumstances.

Harshita is a prime example of what Canada stands for, a rich cultural diversity. Removing her from Canada would be an unspeakable hardship for her, her friends, her family, and her community. In her time spent here, she has fallen in love with our country and has become accustomed to our way of life here. She has become an essential member of the community and has been actively looking to contribute her time and effort towards community development. She knows the importance of communal involvement. We know that Harshita will continue to give so much more when she is permitted to stay in Canada permanently. We do not want to lose an exceptional individual with the caliber and potential like her.

Canada has provided Harshita with a haven that she could never have imagined back in India. Her absence would be significantly felt throughout the community. We would be worse off, as a societal group, if she were forced to leave us. Ms. Arora treats us as her family and community. Please do not let us be separated from one another.

Granting Ms. Arora permanent residence would provide her and her family with a sense of stability and security, enabling her to continue making a positive impact and contributing to the welfare of our community and the country as a whole. Allowing her to stay is not only in her best interest but also in the best interest of our community, which has come to value and appreciate her presence.

As a community, we support this application for permanent residency based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. Please allow Ms. Harshita Sahil Arora to stay in Canada. Every person undersigned here joins in this request. Thank you for your time and consideration.
