Fall River School Committee - Fire Tracy Curley and Brian Lally
The Fall River Public Schools is currently facing a leadership crisis.
A recently disclosed report revealed illegal drug use, misuse of department vehicles, and incidents of sexual misconduct within the district. The report provides evidence that Superintendent Tracy Curley and Human Resources Director Brian Lally mishandled an internal investigation. It also highlights a deeply rooted hostile work culture within certain departments of the school system.
The district is in urgent need of a fresh start with new leadership. At a school committee meeting held on July 28, 2025, the superintendent interrupted a committee member multiple times when he attempted to raise concerns about sexual harassment in the district. She claimed the issue was “not relevant” and prevented further discussion.
