I, the undersigned, am opposed to the construction of another gas station on Lake Thomas waterfront in Fall River, Nova Scotia. Community waterfront parkland would be a better use, continuing to play a part in controlling run-off, and being consistent with our long term plan. I will not support this development at any stage and believe that, with our collective will, it will ultimately fail to make a profit. I call upon the developer to respect the community vision document and the wishes of the residents of Fall River and to shelve this plan. I believe we have to protect our waterways and our environment for future generations, and this plan does the opposite.
