By going to Church I am able to do the sacraments, worship God, and pray. It affects peoples mental health when something they love is taken from them. I pray that you attend one of St Pataskevi services, only them you will see that we are taught love, compassion, forgiveness and humility among many other things. Examples are then given through our liturgy services and parables. These life lessons are an integral part of human growth both mentally and sporitually. Church reconnects us to our shared beliefs. It reinforces the higher philosophy and purpose of love, family , friends etc and it allows us a safe space to connect with God which in my case is important in sustaining good mental health!
