Please seriously include places of worship to be in the roadmap of recovery with the proper safety measurements. It is very unfair and nonsensical that all other areas in the community have been considered but when it comes to worship, to faith, it is at the bottom of the list of measures or not even considered as it is “ not essential” . Let me tell you Mr Andrews, human beings are not just flesh and bones but we also have a spirit and for the majority of Australians are religious without our connection with God within an ecclesiastical environment is detrimental to our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Certainly with the proper measurements, there should be a roadmap for all places of worship.

I support for our churches to be opened for service and prayer to it's congregation, it is imperative for our spiritual health and well-being. It's mental health week we need to attend our church.

I am 22 years of age and residing all alone here in Melbourne whilst all my family live in SA. Not only have I not been permitted to visit family all year, it is unclear when I can see them again. Church is my only place here where I feel a sense of belonging and family. I have missed Easter with my family and most likely will miss Christmas, these are very holy days for me which are now causing me loneliness and despair. Please open up the churches so I have a place to attend one day a week for a few hours and feel comfort from others and my Lord.

I understand you want the best for us, my mental state is very bad, I am 80plus years of age, my religion gives me peace and clears my mental state to a much better state than it is today.
I live alone, I am struggling without my only relief, my heart my soul is lost without my trips to church. Please help us

I support this petition and hope that the plan where people were to register and have a limited amount of people return to worship with social distancing and wearing masks should be done soon .
