I strongly believe that being allowed to commune safely as a family of faith plays an important part in our roadmap for reopening.
Attending our places of worship is an essential aspect of making us stronger and benefits our Mental Health and Well-being because our place of worship is our Sanctuary and our priests and pastors are our mentors in faith who give us hope and positivity in this very uncertain times. They give us mental and psychological support through our faith.
Our places of worship are big enough , much bigger than restaurants and cafes and we can still safely distance from each other and observe all the other safety protocols which are part of our Roadmap to Reopening.

Please let us return to our church services. We can isolate up to 50 - 100 and still be able to celebrate our mass. We need our spiritual life. Give us a chance.

Premier Andrews; I know that you have many urgent responsibilities, but I ask you to fulfil your duty in this matter and show equal concern for the wellbeing of people of faith as those who operate or attend restaurants and cafés. In these stressful times people of faith gain an even greater benefit from attending church than they gain from attending a restaurant. Please extend your care to us in this matter.

Mr Andrews,
We appeal to your good judgement and mercy. We ask that you grant people of faith the same rights that you are affording to those who are permitted in limited numbers to attend restaurants and cafes and to not be considered less important than the pets that you are permitting to receive grooming services. Please consider our petition and ease our unnecessary suffering. We respect all that you have done to ensure we beat this pandemic. We only ask that you show impartiality to your fellow Victorians that greatly need to practise our faith safely and responsibly. Please allow us to return to our places of worship. Thank you.
