It is not right that people in Victoria are not able to gather and worship, even if its in restricted numbers, keeping distance, wearing masks, using sanitizers etc.

I strongly agree with this petition and believe we people of faith should be able to worship for our mental and spiritual health.

ongoing disrespect, discrimination and disparity regarding the spirtuality needs of the people of victoria must come to an end. It is well evidenced that spirituality of humans is a central core of wellbeing- of which the NDIS, and the health care system are founded. Ongoing disregard and discrimination toward groups who practice faith needs to be ceased immediately.

--- ONLY 2.5 hours left to OPPOSE THE OMNIBUS BILL --- Send to [email protected] CC: [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; [email protected]; Here's an example of an email someone sent. Please put a PERSONAL MESSAGE at the top so it doesn't look like a template email. -------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Mark Gepp, I recently became aware of the fact that the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commissioner Kristen Hilton sent you a letter dated 30 September 2020. I came across the correspondence via the Reignite Democracy Australia Facebook page which has a following of almost 19,000 community members. The admins of this community group have interviewed MPs, other well known and well respected influential people on COVID related matters, including the subject of this email - the highly questionable Omnibus Bill and the proposed amendments which the Andrew’s Government is attempting to pass, while demonstrating a complete lack of regard to our Lawful Constitutional Rights, Civil Liberties and Freedoms. The citizens of Victoria are extremely concerned about the extraordinary and disproportionate additional powers sought by a Premier who is well known for abusing his powers beyond reasonable measure and engaging in conduct which could be deemed as crimes against humanity. The pre-emptive detention of non-criminals, something we'd expect to see in dictatorships, not in Australia, is of major concern and rightfully so!!! It has no place in our democratic society. In my opinion, which is shared by many other concerned citizens, this Bill should be delayed to allow time for further oversight, thorough scrutiny by your committee and legal professionals, as well as affording Victorians (who

There is no difference between members of faith communities meeting in groups and schools being open.

I think the places having Covid cases should be under vigilance and proper measures should be taken . But just closing down churches in the entire Victoria is abit too much I’m sure if proper measures are taken and the 1.5m distance maintained I’m sure every church can atleast have 30 to 40 percent people in the church.
