Please treat us the same as restaurants like in the first lockdown. We need to practice our Faith.

No logical reason why we can't gather at church. Please change the rules.

This view presented here sums up how unfairly all religions have been treated so far and unless something changes this will continue to happen. All religions and particularly the Catholic religion to which I belong need to be recognised and safe arrangements made to continue to be able to practise.

Yes we need to have mass. We can be still covid safe by wearing mask and obseving social distancing as the churches are big. We dont have to have choir, CDs would do. As for communion we dont have to have the wine and each parishioner could get a piece of the bread.

5 people at an outdoor service is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

The church are essential services to the communities nearby n at large. We are law abiding citizens according to God’s command for Victoria n Australia. We obey rules such as wearing mask, washing hands n standing at 1 1/2 arm length. Thank you.

Limiting faith gatherings to so few people is illogical considering the supermarket for example, can have significantly more people inside, with very limited capacity to socially distance. Faith needs to be as important as the dollar!

This is a no brainer. The Catholic Mass is not a luxurious accretion, an anachronistic cultural oddity to be tolerated by an enlightened post Christian secular civilization. It is the life blood, the source and fulfillment, the very soul of western civilization. Without it, there is no civilization. Society rejects or suppresses the Catholic Mass, at its own peril!

Freedom of religion is a basic human right, like free speech.
The right to practise one's religion must be upheld except in all but the most extreme and temporary circumstances. Such extreme circumstances do not exist in Victoria today and there is no excuse for the ongoing infringement of our human rights by prohibiting attendance at church.
