Any benefits of locking the state down are far outweighed by the unintended, but real, consequences of economic devastation and personal disillusionment ending for many in suicide. It must be ended promptly. The complete disregard of religion of any denomination by this regime is obvious when so many families have been prevented from gathering for major family events and even day to day religious practices

Mr Premier, you utter words of comfort to families who have lost loved ones saying "you are in my thoughts and prayers" let the active religious people of the State gather to also join you in prayer.

We can safely maintain social distance inside our churches and places of worship, and we're happy to wear masks other than when receiving holy communion. It's not right that people can mix so freely in retail and dining settings, and yet we cannot attend our churches.

Churches are essential services to the community. They must be allowed to have at least the same allowances as restaurants

Dear Premier, my family and I honour you as our great leader and agree with your steps for opening. Yet, we as Catholics will do the 'right' duty required of us as your Victorians. Thanks Bernie

People of faith are responsible and caring. Surely it is much safer to meet in a place of worship rather than a cafe or restaurant. How many cases of Covid 19 were attributable to people meeting in churches or other places of worship in the first lock down?
