Whatever that is good for the goose is good for the gander. If there are indeed regulations for restaurants and supermarkets to open, then there can be one for churches. We're big enough to do social distancing, and we've taken safety precautions more seriously than anyone else. It is time for some common sense as we have already delivered our part of the common good.

I am Roman Catholic by faith and also include my reason to sign afforesaid petition inclusive of all fairness and equitable reasoning in the practice of my faith. In short I do not appreciate the current discriminative status toward Roman Catholicism by the Government

As a Catholic, physical attendance of the Holy mass is of great importance. It is beneficial to my total well being. Pls let us physically gather In worship, social distancing will not be a problem due to large venues available. No online can replace of being able to partake the Eucharist.

As a practising Catholic, the fullest immersion in my faith is only provided by Mass And Holy Communion. We in regional Victoria have very low levels of COVID19
and in my parish, we have been
thoroughly trained in sanitising all surfaces in the Cathedral. For a short time before the second wave, we successfully, in accordance with the government restrictions at the time, limited Numbers at Mass, marked seats to observe the required social distance and rostered people to clean, following the guidelines, between each Mass. No infections occurred as a result of gathering for Mass and every one was happy to book their places, sign the required forms and follow mask and distance guidelines. Pleas let this resume, at least in regional Victoria. Thank you.

Yes, we of Faith must be treated on par with all other organisations/businesses/sporting venues/gym, etc... Ours is a spiritual need to strengthen our minds,body and soul, just as we need food for our physical growth. Open our doors with the same privileges given to other secular bodies, we are in no way inferior to them.
