IF people of faith were able to go to church and pray together this virus would abate no one would ever catch any thing in God House

To open our churches to pray dear!

Because as an Emergency Nurse, I have seen so many suicide attempts recently due to COVID lockdown restrictions varied age group from elderly to as young as 13 yrs old! Many people of faith find comfort in meeting with others like minded. Humans are not meant to live alone

Dear Mr. Premier, The distance to avoid the spread would not be jeopardized at all by allowing Catholics to attend Mass and receive our sacraments while "keeping the distance, numbers and masks", since these are very important means of maintaining our spiritual wellbeing during these difficult times, which is just as important as it is for some people to walk around and to sit for a chat while enjoying a coffee. Churches are big enough to keep the distance; we Catholics are committed enough to Our Faith to know how to abide by the rules (even though sometimes they are far away from being equal and fair).We NEED our spirituality to be nurtured, even if we do not yell about it. Since a human being is formed by body, mind and soul, spiritual needs are as important as physical or mental ones and they need to be taken into consideration for our wellbeing in these difficult times.

Kindly open up our churches for worship pls! It has been ages since we hv bn in the house of God . If pubs & restaurants can open so can the church. Humble thanks in advance!

As a minimum, consider Midweek Mass. It attracts very few people in a very big space. People sanitise and leave their details and are known. They are older and do not travel widely.

Faith, the WORD and fellowship are so important to all of us believers.. You don’t realise it but only Jesus Christ and the WORD of GOD have the answers... God is calling for those who have turned their back on God to...REPENT!!!!

Please reopen church

With a very religious elderly mother who cannot visit her church is absolutely depressing to see her so depressed and cries a lot. I do not believe covid can be easily contracted when attending church service that lasts for an hour max and with social distancing and masks enforced. Please open up places of worship so that people can pray together for a better life for all.

If people can congregate in an outdoor swimming pool to swim with a mask, surely we can attend church with safe distancing and wearing a mask.

I appreciate that there are people who understand what needs to be done in keeping our community safe from COVID 19, and that our leaders need to enact upon these needs. However, I Just ask the same for religious practise as for other activities - no more, no less. There are significant numbers of people within our community that their spiritual needs are as important as their financial, and others even more so. So having a sector like hospitality having more freedoms than religious practices is illogical and not fair across the whole community. Best Regards, Paul Fitzgerald

There have been a few periods in the past 2000 years where Christians have been denied access to their Church or places of worship and the opportunity of receiving the sacraments. The premier of the state claims to be a Catholic and knows full well the importance of confession and communion. This year will go down in the annals of history as one of those terrible times of persecution. It is my will that I be permitted to practice my religion as the Australian govt has ratified that freedom in signing the charter of human rights.

Seems a fair and reasonable request.
