Dear Premier, We were allowed Mass inside the Church with 20 people to attend during the 1st lockdown and were about to go to 50 when the second lockdown occurred.
There was no difficulty in obeying social distancing. We booked to attend. On arrival, we used hand sanitiser, signed in, used social distancing and following Mass, the seats were sanitised. I believe that no-one that attended contracted the Covid Virus. May we be able to return to attending Mass under the same rules.
I also request that Priest / Ministers be able to visit their elderly parishioners in their own homes for a blessing or Communion Regards Susan Wilson

My dear friend is a single Mum and needs her family and her faith community. The imbalance and unfairness that doesn't allow peope to worship together needs to be rectified quickly.

The new "eased restrictions" from Nov 1 is simply idiotic to say the least.
You can have 20 people inside a restaurant and 50 outside and yet the people who want to worship must stay outdoors in in groups of 20?
Where are you most like to contract the virus - among people talking together (possibly inebriated and all common sense out of the door) that can go on for an hour or more or people who have gather to pray to God for 30mins or an hour at the most?
The blame goes alsoto the Catholic hierarchy and even to all religious hierarchcy in Victoria who take this sitting down. Where is your spine? Why are you allowing someone to practically persecute your people.

As a person with a strong Catholic faith, not being able to even sit in a church is problematic. Whilst many find solace in a pub, others find solace in a church. Please hear our prayers and let the clergy reopen the churches. Thank you Jacqueline

We need our churches to reopen. Our country and our state emphasises the importance of equality in terms of gender, sex and sexual-orientation. That’s wonderful! But what about equality for faith? Where is our treatment of fairness and respect to practice what we believe in?

My religion is very important to me especially at such turbulent times as the Covid-pandemic. I wish to be able to worship my Lord and pray for all humanity. My place of worship needs to be accessible so I can practice my religion in a safe and responsible manner.
