The NEED for people to attend religious services is far more important than attending a restaurant. Venues are very large, much larger than most restaurant areas. The closing and keeping closed of churches/places of worship does not make sense and is discriminatory.

Many are suffering silently because they cannot practise their faith and have been cut off from the sacraments. Reopen our churches now - safe guidelines can be observed.

We have not met together in Worship since 21st March, and with this second lock down many of our community are really struggling from the isolation and the lack of one of our core sources of spiritual strength, our worshipping together in Christian community and in particular, the blessing of Holy Communion. If people will be able to gether in a cafe i believe we should be able to gather in a church, where I believe all restrictions will actually be easier to follow and maintain.

Please be fair. People of faith need their place of public worship and it is a violation of their rights to deny them this. If catering places, bars, beachfront areas and so can cope with the expansion of numbers, churches are even more able!

Please understand that the Holy Eucharist present in our catholic churches is the source and summit of our daily life from which we draw strength and healing. The people that attend are very careful in observing safety and hygienne and respect for the whole community attending church.
