Fairness in youth sports

I am a mother of a 14 year old athletic young man who lives to play sports. My son, Kyle Strack, has played lacrosse for the Arlington youth lacrosse league for the past two seasons with a group of boys he has developed close relationships with. This spring season his father and I signed him up again, my son attended try outs and made the A squad. He was officially assigned to the A team and has been registered a lacrosse number. Yet on April 3rd we received a certified letter that he can not play because he doesn't live in Arlington district. The town of spackenkill does not have a lacrosse team for him to play for, which gives him the option of playing for any other team. We chose Arlington obviously because he has already played there for two seasons. Oddly enough they will not let him okay there this year. We originally chose this league because of the integrity of the league. Despite reaching out to several board members we can not obtain an official board meeting or even minutes from a meeting they claim already took place. My son is devastated because it's too late to register elsewhere! Please sign our petition to help get our sin back on his team for his last youth season!
