I believe the same rules of fairness applied to all other areas of law sinceGideon v Wainwright should be applied to all cases involving child support enforcement. This is a critical issue and affects many Americans most of those being our children. I firmlybelieve children have to be provided for and that responsibility is primarily on the shoulders of the parents. In the modern complex society each case has different and unique points of contention creating a necessity. I feel adistinction being made between deadbeat and down and out due to circumstances beyond ones control to be my example of one of those points of contention.
