Fairhope School Rezoning

I work in south Fairhope, and the school district was a major factor when we chose our home just 2 years ago. My high schooler is in the FHS Marching Band and his little sister (kindergarten) is already talking about how she's going to grow up to march in the Fairhope band just like her big brother. If she ends up in the Belforest zone, I won't be able to pick her up from after school care without leaving work early. If she later attends DHS, I won't be able to get her to practice. It would be a major transportation issue for our family! If nothing else, let those of us already in the FHS feeder pattern remain there!

We purchased our house for the Fairhope School system. Please do not rezone!

I purchased my home in Dunmore with Fairhope schools being a major factor in the decision. I sincerely hope that the school board will recognize that our students need to stay in their schools.

The zoning needs to stay as is. This was the reason for the purchase of our house in the Dunmore subdivision.

My kids are in 2nd and 5th grade, I would hate to move them from their schools for one year before they would transition to the Intermediate/Middle schools. Fairhope school district was the reason we bought in Dunmore!!!!

Fairhope school district was of the main reasons I bought this house.

We built in Dunmore 2 1/2 years ago because it was zoned for Fairhope Schools. We paid more for our because of it too.

As someone who had to move around schools frequently due to the military, I could only imagine the day-to-day situations that each individual family is going through. Adolescence has enough instability, please allow the children already solidified in their schooling to go forward into Fairhope.

My 3 children love their Fairhope schools and all their Fairhope sports.

Please do not rezone. We purchased in this neighborhood specifically because of the Fairhope Schools.

Please allow Oldfield kids who are currently Fairhope students to remain in Fairhope schools.

I believe that students that are currently enrolled at any Fairhope school should be allowed to continue their education at a Fairhope school.

We DO NOT want rezoning!

We moved to this neighborhood for the school access. Please don’t make the kids in this neighborhood change schools or force families to move to create educational and social stability.

Please let them finish out where they started

My son has made great friends at Fairhope and has enjoyed the learning experience. I would greatly appreciate the chance for my son to finish the last half of his education in Fairhope where it started. Thank You

We bought our house in Oldfield so that our children could attend Fairhope schools. I grew up in Fairhope and graduated from there myself. It is very important to me for my children to grow up in such a wonderful community and graduate from there as well.

We bought our home in 2013 because the flags were flying outside that it was in Fairhope School District. It means so much to the families in our communities to be able to stay with the kids that they have bonded with since they started school. Please don’t take this away from them.
