Enough concessions have been made to allow people to destroy the cinque charm of Fairhope reming the essence of what makes Fairhope unique. That piece of property is designated commercial and to allow it to become residential - thus destroying the park, pier, and beach would be a mistake. Imagine condominium owners calling the police and city complaining of the natural noise that accompanies people fishing, walking dogs, and enjoying the experience of the bay as they've been doing since Fairhope was originally settled.

Take that crap to Daphne, or gulf shores. Fairhope is and will remain a beautiful town, with no large buildings. I've lived here 21 years, my whole life, never would I want anything like that by our beautiful pier.
