We, the undersigned, support review and improvement of the current disciplinary system in Fairfax County (VA) Public Schools.

Such improvements should provide that EVERY child's Constitutional, due process, and educational rights are protected; the process is restorative, just, consistent, individualized, transparent, monitored, and protects safe schools; and so it functions following best practices and as intended.

My son was treated so unfairly last year. The rules are applied so differently depending on who you are. This needs fixing now.

Too many kids getting suspended for nothing. FCPS needs a real look at these policies. Keep them in class.

Finally someone is doing something about this. My daughter was in tears because no one would listen to her side of the story. Zero transparency.

Accountability is fine but this is just broken. Nothing is consistent across the schools. Fix it.
