It has to be wrong that a a British Old Age Pensioner, having worked all their lives paying income tax and national insurance receive £106 weekly whilst immigrants and refugees receive £250 weekly allowance. It has to be wrong that the spouse of a British old age pensioner receives a weekly allowance of £25 whilst the spouse of an illegal immigrant/refugee receives a weekly allowance of £225. It has to be wrong that an illegal immigrant/refugee can receive additional weekly hardship allowance of £100 whilst there is no similar allowance for the British old age pensioner. It has to be wrong that the British old age pensioners, who have worked and paid taxes and national insurance all their working lives receive less than £7,000 a year whilst the illegal immigrant/refugee who has contributed nothing receives £29,900. Is it wrong to ask for fairness? Is it wrong to expect that someone who has contributed their taxes and national insurance to their country should receive more than those who have not? Is it wrong to suggest that the illegal immigrant/refugee, if they want to come to the UK, should receive less than those who have supported the UK system all their working lives? Let us have fairness.
