Unite think that Lloyds have to take this into account and make the following help available: � Increase the redundancy package � Ensure that staff have time off for job hunting � Make training available for staff in job skills such as CV-writing and interview skills. � Announce full plans for Retail Division for 2010 to colleagues and to give clarity - colleagues are still looking over the shoulder as to who is next � Open the relocation package to all impacted colleagues who would be willing to retain a role in LBG. � Open a voluntary register in the impacted areas and to use bumping as creatively as possible � Engage with the local development agency and Job Centres Plus to explore other possible employment opportunities � Arrange roadshows from external companies who may be recruiting in the area � Allow staff to leave early with full redundancy rights � Protect staff arrangements such as mortgages provided by the Bank
