I am in favor of updating the clubhouse and bathrooms, however I feel it should maintain the integrity of the original Spanish style (just brighter and fresher) rather than making it so modern.

I completely agree that this remodel is not at all consistent with the historical look and feel of our wonderful clubhouse. The design is offensive and too contemporary, and would be a waste of our funds.

Think large square tiled floor also needs to be called out. As several of us have observed the renderings make it look like a Marriott hotel lobby.
I know the committee has worked very hard on this and we need to respect that effort. I think the designs shared thus far are incomplete and don’t clarity the full vision. Would propose board committee be empowered by board to share full design vision of current plans not piecemeal so we can see how vision would pull together.
Also recommend we make changes toward Mediterranean style quickly so we can stay on the same timelines for renovation and the same budget
