We, the undersigned homeowners, strongly oppose the design and of the remodeled bathrooms and reception workspace. We agree that these areas need remodeling, but want the Spanish Mediterranean style maintained and the designs as is are inconsistent with Spanish Mediterranean Architecture. (See for example pages 27 to 42 of the 1983 Architectural Guidelines.) The bathroom design is too modern and will be out of date in a few years. The style of many of the features are not Spanish Mediterranean. (For example, the rectangular reception doors with page 35.) The Spanish Mediterranean architecture of the common area buildings should be embraced and maintained, not abandoned. And we would like to have full visibility of the designs.

I think it would be helpful for you to provide more photos of the proposed project. Thanks for your work .
I totally agree. The board was not transparent and it’s representations of the cost and future need for other more pressing maintenance needs like the lake like the lake.
I am in favor of updating the clubhouse and bathrooms, however I feel it should maintain the integrity of the original Spanish style (just brighter and fresher) rather than making it so modern.
I completely agree that this remodel is not at all consistent with the historical look and feel of our wonderful clubhouse. The design is offensive and too contemporary, and would be a waste of our funds.
Think large square tiled floor also needs to be called out. As several of us have observed the renderings make it look like a Marriott hotel lobby. I know the committee has worked very hard on this and we need to respect that effort. I think the designs shared thus far are incomplete and don’t clarity the full vision. Would propose board committee be empowered by board to share full design vision of current plans not piecemeal so we can see how vision would pull together. Also recommend we make changes toward Mediterranean style quickly so we can stay on the same timelines for renovation and the same budget

In 2015, as a board member, we budgeted for the clubhouse bathroom remodeling and unfortunately never happened. It was very minimal amount at that time.
