We THE PEOPLE of the United States of America, hereby demand the elected "Representatives" within OUR U.S Congress regognize, and submit to THEIR SWORN OATH to represent their constituents; not ending upon their elections, but remaining throughout. Fair, and honest representation is NOT reflected by members of Congress receiving a salaried compensation well exceeding the National average; nor shall it continue to disgrace the Military by being part-time, and still receiving an excess compensation, ridiculous, and abusive benefit packages, full retirement, and an idiotic ability to vote upon its own further increases in salaries. A person serving in the Military (2009) with an E-9 paygrade for 20 YEARS service receives a salary of $91,916.34 per year. The current salary (2010) for rank-and-file members of the House and Senate is $174,000 per year. The National mean, or average salary is $68,424 per year. Is it not fair, and true representation of WE THE PEOPLE to demand OUR representatives receive NO MORE than the National average they are sworn to represent? WE THE PEOPLE hereby demand, and include into this petition that all members of Congress receive the same retirement, Social Security, and medical benefits that the National average recieves. WE THE PEOPLE demand REPRESENTATION; not MISREPRESENTATION! The United States Congress IS owned, and controlled by THE PEOPLE, and answers to THE PEOPLE. The arrogant elite, and those whom proclaim "fairness" in American business, healthcare, and "fairness" in the American people, shall hereby by put on watch to stop the class warfare while receiving insulting salaries, and perks that are abused, all while demanding taxpayers pay the tab, and control our own budgets to better feed the governmental leach elitists. Note: With 435 members of Congress: $174,000 = $75,690,000 (75 million, 690 thousand dollars)... with Congress receiving the National average salary the American taxpayer reduces its burden by $45,925,560 (45 million, 925 thousand, 560 dollars ) per year! Each election the individuals running for election, or re-election raise MILLIONS of dollars EACH to their agenda, but NONE of them can raise money to reduce OUR debt, and burdens.
