I'm a little sick that my bill has been over 600 for the last 2 months and is usually 300 at most. We even heat with a wood stove. I called basically they forced me into budget billing but I was told If I go off I have to pay the difference of each month prior. What a bunch of crap!

We are a low income family we are wise about our power usage and for two months it has been well over our normal bill. We have been having to get food from food bank for our family due to have to pay bill but takes away from food budget. Wow

These utility bills we are receiving are ridiculously high. In a state like Montana where wages are low people's lives depend on fair rates. It's not fair to charge so much when it gets cold enough to kill you if you can't pay. That's not morally or ethically right.

It's obvious now that Montana can no longer allow this company to remain a monopoly. We need to bring in other companies to drive down prices and create competition for NorthWestern.

Can not beleive how much my bill is, how do they expect people to afford this especially when some people are living from pay day to pay day with nothing left over, something needs to be done. How do they know what our bill is when they don't even read the meeders anymore?
