Tom is an amazing coach, mentor, husband, and father! He has helped everyone around to be a better person. He has helped me choose where I should go for college and how to do a few assignments! He is an amazing guy!

Tom Evans is an Amazing coach, role model and mentor. He has installed values and goals for both of my kids ♥️ I stand behind Tom Evans 100% He has done so much for the wrestling team these boys need Tom. He deserves fair treatment and to get back to his job and wrestling team.

By their fruits you shall know them. After coaching with Tom for a year I have come to know of his integrity and heart. Having grown up here and with my kids attending Tooele High, I decided to help coach the High school wrestling team during the 2019-2020 season. During the season I was able to spend enough time with Tom to get to know him and I know he has the heart of a teacher and is constantly trying to help everyone grow and learn. As he was put on administrative leave without pay, I asked around to try to find out what was going on and all that anyone could tell me was how great Tom was as a teacher and coach but also in my asking I found that there were many instances in the District that teachers and coaches were treated very poorly and that our superintendent was explosive, intimidating, and bullied anyone that even tried to question him. When the very few allegations were given to Tom they did not sound like anything he would do and they certainly did not ask anyone that was around him that would have been there during time these accusations could have happened. Even the way those involved investigated Tom seems like it was done the wrong way. When presented with the allegation on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving he was told he was terminated and he had 5 days to request to appeal, that was at the start of a four day weekend in which he had not even one full business day to make an appeal which does not seem right. I am very disappointed in our district as I have brought up this subject and have learned that this type of treatment has happed to multiple teachers and the more I would ask about our superintendent the more people had similar stories and I have found many scared teachers and district employees that were so scared to even talk about the problem for fear they would be the next victim of a retaliation of our superintendent. I am signing this petition on the merits of the dozens of people that I have talked to that know both Tom and our distric

Tom is a great teacher and coach. He has both taught my kids in class and on the wrestling team. He is one of those coaches that believes in his athletes and they know that he truly does and they start believing in themselves because he believes in them. They want to work hard because they know what he is teaching them will help them improve. In the classroom he cares about his students and that they are learning. He is willing to help them achieve and puts in the extra time to make things work. He is the type of teacher we need in this district.
