As students of Bentley University, we aspire to grow a greater awareness of the rising global issue of slave labor. Slave labor consists of people being forced to do work under duress or danger, against their will, and in most cases for no pay. The soccer ball manufacturing industry is a huge proponent of this issue, in fact most soccer balls are hand stitched by young children for, at most, six cents an hour, working upwards of 10-15 hours a day. In order to create awareness, it is important that not only our voices are heard, but a significant change is made. Please join us in our attempt to implement fair trade soccer balls made by Senda into Bentley University's Intramural Sports Program by signing this petition.
