Anonymous of Aug.11, 2015. I thought I would give your suggestion of calling the Archdiocese a second chance and was told that the Archdiocese had put out a statement given to Sacred Heart Parish and that by calling the Parish I would be able to obtain said statement. In calling the Parish I was told that I would be sent the requested statement. Anyone interested in said statement please call Sacred Heart Parish at 905-852-6944.

For the "Anonymous" person who suggested on Aug. 11, 2015 that before we start chastising the Archdiocese of Toronto we should have the courtesy to contact the Chancellor of Spiritual Affairs Office and ask them to explain what the current situation is regarding Fr. John Duffy --- Did you really think or do you really think that anyone from that office would answer? Your suggestion may have been well intentioned (if so why be anonymous) but naïve given historical precedents and although I knew I would be wasting my time contacting the S.A. Office I did just that in your "Anonymous" honour. Needless to say -- it proved to be just that -- a waste of time. The S. A. Office was not prepared to answer. You don't really expect an office that has tried to muzzle Fr. John is about to disclose anything to anyone who has a concern for Fr. John????? If you do call the number that you suggested and get a response from the S.A. Office please be kind enough to share with all of us and if you do I'm certain that we would have more respect for you also if you shared your name with us.

Don't know Fr. John Duffy, I don't need to..he is a priest of the Catholic Church and it is with heavy heart that I read of his situation..What is going on in our church?? It is getting to the point of being unrecognizable ..May the good Lord have mercy on those who are doing this criminal act to Fr. Duffy. Fr. Duffy trust in the Lord, He loves you and your suffering is like a fragrant bouquet to Him ...

Is this how the Church treats its priests? This is a scandal to Toronto's faithful and a betrayal of the responsibility over an incardinated priest for support and assignment. I loathe the idea of a lawsuit by a priest, having experienced it myself, but one might ask, "what would drive a priest to sue his bishop?" Father Duffy deserves a canonical hearing at the least and security. Some "Family of Faith." Vox Cantoris http://voxcantor.blogspot.ca/2015/08/duffygate.html

This Priest deserves a fair hearing before his accusers.

Rather than judging a situation I have only one side of. I too will suspend my Family of Faith contribution until the matter is cleared up. I pray that the Truth guides this debacle and mercifully come to a just conclusion.

Fr. John Duffy, Be strong. Trust on the Lord and our Bl. Mother. Will remember you always in my prayers, please remember me too in yours. PROPHECIES OF OUR LADY OF GOOD SUCCESS (400+years ago)ABOUT OUR TIMES Written by TFP.org "The devil will work to persecute the ministers of the Lord in every way, working with baneful cunning to destroy the spirit of their vocation and corrupting many". "Unhappy times will come wherein those who should fearlessly defend the rights of the Church will instead, blinded despite the light, give their hand to the Church’s enemies and do their bidding. But when [evil] seems triumphant and when authority abuses its power, committing all manner of injustice and oppressing the weak, their ruin shall be near. They will fall and crash to the ground". "The secular clergy will fall far short of what is expected of them because they will not pursue their sacred duty. Losing the divine compass, they will stray from the way of priestly ministry mapped out for them by God and will become devoted to money, seeking it too earnestly". "The small number of souls who will secretly safeguard the treasure of Faith and virtues will suffer a cruel, unspeakable, and long martyrdom". "Pray constantly, implore tirelessly, and weep bitter tears in the seclusion of your heart, beseeching the Eucharistic Heart of my most holy Son to take pity on His ministers."

I cancelled pledges to Family of Faith initiated by an unjust Archdiocese who's malicious persecution of , I firmly believe. Dogmatic Priest in the Order of Melchizedek , is out of line and purely out of decency and most of all OUT OF ORDER! I remain a mainstream free spirited Catholic Christian.

I have only met Father John a handful of times, and I was left with a feeling of sincerity and feeling that he treated people very good. It is my moms church and I enjoyed going knowing Father John was there. We will pray for him.
