Fair funding for the Vale

The disparity with Bridgend and Cardiff is disproportionate and unfair to the Vale

Vale Education funding particularly for schools with a higher disadvantaged intake eg Barry Comprehensive (boys) , joint bottom of all secondary schools in Wales! would benefit

all we want is fair play

Come on, welsh assembly, give us the money for the last 5 years.... You know it makes equitable sense!

Surprised at the biased way the funds are allocated!

I back your campaign for fair funding for the Vale. As an ex school governor, couldn't understand why Vale Schools were discriminated against compared to Cardiff and particularly RCT.

It is extremely unfair that the Vale receives such a low settlement compared to Cardiff. Perhaps if we had a fair settlement we could keep our buses.

I back your campaign for fair funding for the Vale. I had no idea there were such discrepancies and wonder where the sense of fair play is.

I would like the Vale to get more funding, as it does seem to get quite a lot less than other local regions in South Wales

It seems that we are into something of a postcode lottery as to what funding is given by the Assembly. Can someone explain why our needs are less than that of a person living a few miles away in Cardiff?

Each authority deserves parity

Unfair that we pay some the highest council taxes and receive so little, this is all down to local politics by the WAG! They need to be held accountable.

The Vale has historically received a poor deal in government funding. It is unfairly thought of as a " well off area."It has a huge variety of problems due to its wide diversification,from rural to urban matters.

I believe the vale should be as equal to other authorities.it is a prosperous and thriving vale and worthy to receive equal funding.

Please allow fair funding for the Vale of Glamorgan and bring it in line with Cardiff. Thank you

Additional support to "deprived" areas is given via general taxation so its a double burden to also do it via local authority funding.

I am concerned about the lack of bus services in the Vale which impacts on working people/school children/elderly/unemployed/. Also about the choices made politically to cut subsidies and overbuild in VOG increasing traffic on already congested roads in the Vale, including Port Road to Culverhouse Cross

specifically impacting upon the cuts in bus services in vale whilst funding an airport bus which runs with very few or no pasengers from airport to cardiff without stops madness

The funding should be level where ever you choose to live

I will be 80 years of age next February. I have lived at Highlight Park for the past 17 years, I have already lost my Bus Service on Saturdays and a greatly reduced service Monday to Friday. I find it very difficult on pension to afford Taxis to take me to Doctors Dentists hospitals as well as my general shopping I have to do. Tesco do not sell everything. I have to walk a mile to the Colcot arms to get the nearest bus to town which I find ever increasingly more difficult especially in Winter. Please do what you can for me to save my buses, otherwise most of my life will be in the house unable to get around anymore. Thank you.
