It is understandable that the University wants to push it's students to strive for excellence, but this grading scale does not do that. As a student who strives for A's, I feel penalized for losing GPA points for not receiving the highest a possible, and then am still not given the opportunity to receive more GPA points when I do receive the highest A possible. It is almost like I am being punished for excelling, when B+'s and C+'s are worth more quality points than B's and C's alone.

This petition is very accurate and students deserve better because we work hard and we feel the university is working against us!
