Life of a flight attendant is not as prestigious as we think. A short duty day can constitute of a minimum of 10 hours of consecutive work but can on average, go up to 14 hours easily. The regulations are very clear for our pilots all the way to our truck drivers but no law was established by Transport Canada (Canadian Aviation Regulation) or by the Federal Labor Law for flight attendants. Despite our passion for our career, our well being and those of others need to be respected and taken under consideration. We are there for the security of our passengers but after 14 hours of work, fatigue is established.

Support us in our goal. Your signature will uphold our cause that affects all flight attendants across the country.

Keep fighting for this. no one should have to work that long without proper recovery time.

UNACCEPTABLE. I want the people in charge of my safety on a plane to be alert and rested. Keep them safe so they can keep us safe.

About time someone looked at this. long shifts without breaks is dangerous for the crew and for us travelers.

Exactly. how is this not already a law? tired staff is a huge risk for everyone on board.

My sister is a flight attendant and she comes home exhausted. 14 hours is way too long to be responsible for passenger safety. Fix this.
