Lets Stop Facebook now. Facebook will try to force this down the throats of consumers. They engaged in fraudulent and deceptive practices by not allowing consumers to make an informed decision about their purchase from Oculus. Facebook is now trying to mandate users have a Facebook Account in order to use their Oculus Hardware. We know based on history Facebook and Mark Zuckerburg will sell our information. There are also other nefarious practices where this information can be abused.

Facebook is ridiculous in its fraudulent and deceptive services. Oculus was bought under the assumption that it would remain basically a separate entity from Facebook but that's now changing and I do not want my information in Facebook's hands
Do not infringe on United States Constitution, civil liberties and bill of rights, equal civil union, international laws and treaties adopted trade

I think what they're doing is absolutely horrible
This type of thing IS illegal in germany a d should be in the US as well.
Blatant attempt to steal Oculus user data..
Being forced to use Facebook is unsettling enough without it being linked to such personal experiences. I just got my Quest, but I really wouldn't feel comfortable using it anymore if there's no way to override this. They've gotten too good at taking down shell accounts for that to be a viable option either :/

It says nowhere on the box or material when I bought my oculus quest 1 that I would have to have a Facebook account. Facebook should pay me back my money for games and equipment if they are going to render it useless without a Facebook account after 2023.
