We the undersigned,petition Facebook to adopt a system,whereby people joining the site,should provide some form of identity verification. This,we feel,would rid the site of the numerous people creating groups,with the sole purpose of upsetting,distressing and disrupting genuine users,everyday lives. Pornographic images,deceased images,racism,disabled abuse,foul language,are all common problems and although these groups are reported,we feel prevention is better than cure.
