I would like for Facebook to allow individual profiles and pages to have gender specific options. They are many individuals and businesses who would like to be able to be visible only to women or men. This is especially important for the LGBTQ Community and others deemed different.

I started this petition due to the fact that myself and many of my colleagues are continually being harassed on Facebook by individuals who discriminate, hate and promote hate against anyone who is apart of the LGBTQ Community. This is being done in various ways, but mostly by commenting on posts shared by yourself and others with similar interest.

This can make a difference for any individual who is by societies standard "different" and can make it much more easier for anyone to feel comfortable expressing themselves whether on a page or profile.

Please support this petition to have Facebook put in place gender specific options for pages and profiles.
