This is stupid. There are child molesters and all kinds of creeps on Facebook but you want to mess with authors and their characters. This is wrong.

I have a frog....two of my friends have frogs....all three have their own facebook page. Don't understand the difference.

Facebook allows pedophiles, hate groups, and children along with cyber bullies to have profiles yet innocent creative life loving people cannot? This is ridiculous-it's an American publically traded company and in our country we have Freedom of Expression.

I do not understand why if these people are recognized by their Government that FB can't recognize them. How many people on here do you honestly think have posted their real names and ages. As for Transgender persons, that is striaght up discrimination and could be constituted as a hate crime.
Get with the time FB and stop hating in those of society who are a bit different..

It is unfair for fb to continue this practice as it interferes with free speech and propagates discrimination as well as interfering with people's intellectual property punish those that abuse not those that want or need anonymity for what ever reason wether it be fun or privacy bullys r bad not everyone who uses a alias is a bully but fb sure bullys those who use one

There is no reason to censor a person's creativity. There are many so-called "real" people on Facebook who absolutely don't use their real names. Many parents don't allow their teens to do so! If Facebook is willing to allow bullying, and semi-pornographic images, then there is no reason to disallow RP, etc.
