Dear Facebook....please, please, please reactivate the personal account of MIKE STARR, original bassist and co-founding member of the iconic rock band, ALICE IN CHAINS. His personal page is where ALL of his Family, Friends, Loved Ones and THOUSANDAS upon THOUSANDS of LOVING FANS, like myself have been going to read his posts whenever we're thinking of and missing him, interact with his family and friends as well as other fans who loved Mike deeply and have been profoundly affected by his passing. It's very disturbing to see that you have shut it down without any thought or regard of how upsetting your actions are to the Starr family, especially his parents and most especially his sister; as well as all of his close friends, loved ones and us, HIS FANS who MISS HIM terribly. Mike's FB account was the only place where we could ALL truly connect with him. It's been devasting enough to have lost him, but to have his account taken away from us is like pouring salt in a gaping, never-ending wound. I'm respectfully pleading with you, Facebook, PLEASE REACTIVATE his account. Please put yourselves in our shoes and try to see how upsetting this would be if it happened to your loved one's personal account. There were comments and posts made on that account that are invaluable to so many people, but MOST importantly to his beloved FAMILY! Much thanks in advance.

my son Joe Kovar was on celebrity rehab with Mike and I also met Mike on the show help keep his memory alive and put him back on!!

If there is any question of the site being legitimate or not, please ask Melinda or Gayle. Why would Facebook even think about taking down a site of a friend to many of us and an iconic Rock Star to so many others ! Mike Starr has an amazing fan base and following and depsite him no longer being with us, his site is maintained by his family in a very well and respectable nature. There are many sites that are up that are borderline offensive and I think many of us would suggest that the Facebook team should spend their timefocusing on them, as opposed to a site to memorialize the memory and legacy of arguably of of the greatest Bass players of all time and more importantly a friend and family member to so many more. Please take the time to contact who you need to do your due diligence in verifying with but do not take down the site. It is very important to his family, friends and fans ! Thank you.
