I need my children back in school have already moved 1 child to a different district the other 3 will be if we dont return to in person learning

My daughter is a first grader at Beagle. I would like her to be in a classroom setting with other students and her teacher. Virtual learning is not a way to learn. Mentally, emotionally, and physically this is draining on our entire family. Please have an option to do virtual or face to face. Other schools and extra curricular activities are open, it’s time to open the schools as well.

My kids are in kindergarten+ and 1st grade. My littlest absolutely hates being online. He gets mad and throws a fit every time he has a zoom meeting and says it’s dumb and wants to be in school. And my oldest is having a very hard time because his work is frustrating. And he has mental breakdown about doing 15+ pages of homework everyday because he’s not learning anything. They really need to go back to in person

My 3 girls are struggling significantly and are not learning material they would've by now compared to in person learning. Virtual learning is slowing down how far our kids need to be!

Our children deserve a better education than they are currently receiving. The longer they are out of school the farther behind they fall. Not to mention their mental health. Grand Ledge Teachers are doing the best they can with what they are given.
If children can play sports we can have our children back in the classroom. Class room instruction is far more important than playing sports.

My kids are not made to do this virtual learning, the are struggling mentally and emotionally. They are falling behind and then need the structure of being face to face. Please give us the option to do face to face, hybrid, or anything other than just virtual. These kids need it badly.

Please do what’s right for our children and get them back in person to get the well rounded education that a public school is expected to provide. We can do this safely, just like all the other districts in MI that have already gone back to in person. The numbers prove it is safe for K-12 to be in person. Don’t deprive our children any longer.
