Victoria Buchanan, an Ottawa resident was killed around 7:00 AM on Monday November 3rd, 2014 while running to catch her bus on Baseline Road. She felt in front of the OC Transpo bus and was run over by the bus. She died of massive head injuries.

OC Transpo has a history of safety accident that has claimed the lives of countless victims in the Ottawa region, which put public safety in question. Across Canada, millions of Canadians rely on public transit. OC Transpo un-responsive behavior continues to put thousands of Ottawa resident’s lives at risks.

We are launching this petition to gather as many signatures as possible, in our action to get justice for her mother whom has been treated disrespectfully, and for other innocent victims and their family who lost their lives in the hands of OC Transpo.

We are calling for the Federal and Provincial governments to establish a Safety Review committee, and ways to ensure Public Transit across Canada remain safe without public people lives in jeopardy.
