Recognizing the cultures of the world as one humanity, as members of The North American Folk Music and Dance Alliance we call on President Bush to put all his efforts toward a peaceful and diplomatic resolution of the conflict with Iraq.
I am still honestly stunned by how many of you have joined this effort because it began as such a quiet whisper among friends. I have been spending my time reaching out to offices to find anyone willing to listen to our call for peace. Please know that the credit for this momentum belongs entirely to the people who took a moment to sign their names.

I really never imagined this many people would join in on this call for peace. The sheer number of you who have added your names is honestly overwhelming and it proves that this message belongs to all of you now.
