Remove Adult Advertisement from FA

many people are reporting these ads showing up on SFW pages too. including the staff journal. regardless of their 'safety features' (which dont work) these ads go DIRECTLY against their OWN site rules.

The ad-related behavior that FA has been demonstrating completely goes against why I use the website. I hope that this issue is resolved swiftly and efficiently.

Second this (122)! FA is not an adult site, and therefore should not be showing these kinds of ads.

Its not a danger to Kids and Teenagers, as the ads are displayed depending on the content. So sure, if a kid or teenager lies about their age, and are looking at mature art, then mature ads will be displayed. If they sign up with their actual age, which restricts them from viewing any kind of adult art, then they won't see any adult ads either.

Is FA seriously NOT considering their audiences?

It appears that the ads are displayed in regards to current content on the screen. So if you are an adult, and you are looking at adult art, then yes, adult ads will be displayed. If you are under age, or have adult content disabled, then you should not see any adult ads either. From the Site Updates: ==Advertising Changes== We've enabled mature third party ads on submissions which contain adult content. These ads will also show up on any page where adult content is visible (such as in a thumbnail). The system was recently updated to detect whether a page has general-rated content or contains adult material, and displays ads accordingly. We understand the general community concern with third party ads, especially adult ones. We will be monitoring the content of the ads and pruning those which exceed the lines. While the ads may contain strong language, the ads are setup so as to not show extreme content. Users who find malicious ads can report them directly by sending a note to Dragoneer. Please be sure to include a screenshot of the ad, and (if you’re able) a link to where the ad’s URL.

It is really disgusting to see these specific advertisements on FA.

There's a reason for the sfw button, and having the adult ads randomly appear is far from sfw.

this has nothing to do with the art posted (which is different from REAL life porn). this is purely about the adult advertisement from 3rd party sources.

FA has violated the rules on their website allowing real porn from 3rd party to be shown on their website. Its illegal to have websites like FA to allow such porn ads to pop up on websites just for money. The ads contain malware and viruses if the ad pops up. This also poses a danger to kids and teenagers that post artwork on the website.

FA is like an odd, niche little home. Erotic art can be respectable, but some more control over it might be nice

the google ads arent bad. they're placed badly sometimes but at least they're not offensive or down right degrading to women. the main problem is the adult ads.

REMOVE ALL GOOGLE and PORN ads off of FA. We ONLY want Artist-run ads on FA!!
