Minors can join and create non-adult accounts on FurAffinity, so to allow these ads is violating FurAffinity's own rules in that sense, too.

I haven't encountered these ads but have heard from friends and other artist about them, and now have concerns of my own, as we can all see the need for ad revenue, there has to be a fine line and it seems FA has crossed that line with these ads and it seems from the argument that they themselves have violated their own terms of service. So if people get malware from these "ads" would Fa not be liable if some kinda damage came from this ? AS we all know that's just what Malware is Malicious software designed to inflict harm to a users system, since they are in cahoots with the 3rd party that owns the "ads". as a user of the site I feel that this was a very poor decision on management.

The furry community needs more places to post and view family friendly content. I used to have the impression that FA was trying to include those who have no interest in adult-oriented art, what with their content filters and such. These ads seems like a major step backward, but here's hoping that will change.

I don't want to see porn ads on FA. I think it's extremely low-brow and has a negative impact on the community. Artists who rely on FA ads are being blocked by AdBlock software by people who do not want to view these adult ads, which leads to a negative impact on them. It also poses the potential hazard to people who look at FA in public locations and do not necessarily want to see porn on their phones/computers when they bring up FA. Please, people, just get rid of them. I have yet to see anyone who has anything positive to say about them. Nobody likes them.
