It is true, Fur Affinity is not a porn site, and it really does not need ads to violate their own code of conduct and policies. There are not only individuals leaving the website, but also businesses now who depend on Fur Affinity to get customers. Having adult content submitted onto the website by users, such as art and writings are okay, but mature and adult advertising of real life pornographic content?! Now that's just pushing it! I use Fur Affinity as a way to be social in the furry community, to upload my art, to upload my poems and stories, pictures of my adventures and my new suit, as well as journals for the people who watch me to know what's up. 99% of the stuff I do look at and favorite on the website is clean, whether if I'm looking at a new fursuit, a beautiful new painting, or even reading a friend's writing, is all clean, and the kind of ads I expect on FA are ones from other furries, advertising fursuit making, art commissions, or even a simple furry pod cast. I even have friends and family outside of the fandom, of which I show them something on FA, if it's a pic of a friend's suit or art, they expect something neat, not something disturbing, like ads about bestiality or rape. Even some of my friends are thinking of leaving FA now because of this! So, I am signing this petition, to have 3rd party adult advertising, removed from Fur Affinity, FOR GOOD!!!

i joined FA 4 years ago, i read the terms and the policy of submit and advertising, i agreed because, no real porn will be there, i was very tired about many websites that filled the add bars with links to pornographic pages.
in those years i have seen many users that shared pornographic pictures and violent and disturbing stuff and i told to the administrators to remove them, sucesfully because i wasnt the only one.
for the dignity of this art network we must unite for this fair cause, to defend the dignity of our art site.

FA, despite the huge base that says otherwise, is not a porn site. It's a site for artwork and people actually trying to make a living. Having these types of ads not only hurts the site but the community as a whole.
A bunch of artists rely on ad revenue from FA to support themselves and now that's being taken away. Because of these very likely viruses inundating the site, people are now using adblock liberally. This puts a lot of people at risk! For the good of the site and the artists who need it, please remove these.

the conduct of those running FA is nothing short of pathetic. wouldn't be surprised if this petition is just another wasted breath from the community. I say the current staff needs a makeover, or needs to go. these porn ads are yet another slap in the face of the members who have a great amount of faith in a site that doesn't deserve it.
