This is a disgrace. FA is breaking its own rules and promise to keep running the same as it was.
It is also unfair to the artist paid ads to have to be blocked by adblocker just so we don't have to see these porn ads.

Advertisers wonder why adblockers are used? Let me inform you of something known as a driveby flash exploit, or zero day exploit caused by some obtrusive ads used by companies. It's bad enough that porn ads are shown regardless of what art that artist uses on FA, but many of the ads used exploit vulnerabilities such as the Angler EK vulnerability, and reap into someone's personal privacy. If advertisers want people to stop blocking their ads, triple check for malicious code/payloads, and stop just generalizing ads and saying okay to whomever. I wanna help support websites, but I refuse to compromise my computer which I NEED to create art as that is my JOB. So - until FA fixes the website I will continue to block all ads, and refuse to link to the page to show someone my art, and just link the direct image instead.

Artists' ad banners are good enough, we don't need creepy and nasty pornographic advertisements from outside FA that doesn't apply to the furry community.

Ads are one thing. Adult ads leading to unrelated themes are another. It's not right for a non-furry to click onto FA and see such adds.

I am against these ads! I use adblocker purely because of the crappy ads that come up on the site now. Which means i sadly miss the ads from other furs i AM interested in seeing :(

Lets try to get rid of this issue, and it really disappoints me when the community ads from artists would put out for would make a decline from their ad payment and I really hope thats all gone soon.

Man, I've always been dodgy when talking about FA to others because I knew there was pornography and fetish stuff on there. If they ever fell on such a thing, I would have simply said that this is not all there is on the website. But now, with the adult ads and all, I can't really say that anymore. This is a huge mistake and really, it's only going to make even more people block ads on the website.

FurAffinity is the central website for all things furry, and usually these are one of the first sites people see when they want to research on furries. With these ads around, we could get our name more tarnished than it already is. I don't want people to go on this site and automatically think I am a pervert with weird fetishes. I want people to think I am interested in cartoons and fantasy. Not sex. These ads must go down at once.
