Its ridiculous. The FA staff must be brain dead to not see how this could/has negatively impacted the site..but they dont necessarily care about that as long as they are making a quick buck off ads

I use FA to enjoy and share artwork, not be subjected to RL horrific porn and fetish ads that can actually be triggering. The fact that it shows up with all things tagged mature/adult regardless of pornographic content is bad enough, but with it showing up on SFW? No can do.

This is disgusting. It is totally against the TOS for the site and they still do this. Many people are getting the nasty ads while not even logged in and while viewing SFW also. This flagrant disregard for the potential viewing audience who come to look at our site is appalling. Way to make us look classy FA, I hope you can detect the sarcasm in that statement. :/

i'm perfectly ok with artists on FA having their adverts up on the site but putting third party ads doesn't cut it, if they are appearing on the SFW side of the site (Safe For Work) then the owners of FA are assuming that FA is a Porn site, Which it is not.

These ads are riduculous and inappropriate. I have heard rumours that even sfw viewers can see them and that is wrong. I know furries are open about sexuality but putting those ads up is pretty insulting.... there is all sorts of the damn porn on FA for FREE why would anyone click on those sketechy banners?!?! I

As stated in the description, ads that do not follow what FA allows to be posted defeats the purpose of what the site themes. I'm honestly disgusted that it has allowed the ads.

If the ads stay I'm afraid I can't as a strictly SFW artist and professional outside the furry community , I cannot let my work be associated with a real life porn site.

we need to put our foot down on this and make it clear we do not want these things on our site! they removed the sidebar when we made our voice clear and we can do the same here!

It may bring viruses to the site. Very often when clicking on the tab to view my notes on my phone, the screen sometimes readjusts itself and clicks on the ads that are near the note tab. So I wouldn't want to accidentally click on one of these porn ads, and put my phone at risk for viruses. It also looks distasteful. As a fandom we want to project that it's not all sexual, but these ads like this makes the fandom as a whole look like we're all about sex. We should be trying to take steps forward to show what good comes from the fandom. Such as displaying the amazing art, and crafts that it creates. It's hard to show that side of this fandom when those types of ads are being covered by two figures blowing each other. This isn't taking a step forward, and showing what good can come. It's taking a big step back.

Not only does the linking of real porn sites bother and offend the user-base, these sorts of places are usually rife with malware of all kinds! If we start getting the screen-filling porno-pop-ups, I fear that may signal that the end is near...
