This includes links to real life pornography, malware, malicious scripts, websites featuring the illegal streaming of copyrighted content, or content in public (journals, profiles) or General Rated (AUP 1.1) areas that leads to Mature/Adult Rated material that is not behind a warning splash page.

Yes I agree, FA is defiantly not a porn site its a site where people can show their artwork to others. Kissing is fine and if the 'parts' are covered up its fine only if its like artwork and not irl. X3 Like come on guys, there are kids who be on FA like are you serious!! I hope they really do remove the adult advertisement from FA!

I'm a minor, so I use the SFW mode, and since i removed adblock on my pc i started seeing these adds, this needs to stop it was funny at first but now its annoying and embarrassing. they need to go away, i don't want to see anymore sleazy ads when i go on FA, i guess time to enable adblock again.

I work with clean art and artistic nudes. I have no problem with the idea of porn, if someone wishes to release their sexual tension in their own art or for someone else that is one thing. I just don't want my art being associated with the lowest denominations of human porn. It's degrading to be on a site which has reduced it's standards this low to publish ads promoting creating or certain oddities like the aforementioned BroadcastYourAss.com.
A better way for imvu and furaffinity would be to consider a site such as projectwonderful and encourage members to buy the large banners out if they desire. add sellers also are able to change the rating for ads. Having two separate ad accounts based on whether the sfw/nsfw filter is on would better control what kind of ads are serviced than the current broken system.

Why do we NEED adult ads anyway? Weren't the normal ones enough?
I can't really expect the site to be ad-free, since everything on the internet has at least an ad nowadays, even Gmail. I'm not complaining about that. But this new batch of adult ads are offensive.
The first point is that I feel it reinforces the "furry = porn" stereotype, which should be far from true, and we should all ne fighting against it.
The second, more important point, is that this is an art and community site, not an adult site. People come here to share art and a common passion and point of view. It's true that there already is plenty of adult content on this site, but that is here because there are users who want to share it; these new ads, on the other hand, force that content on us even if we don't want to. It's an imposition on the community as a whole, and an extreme lack of respect towards us. You're basically forcing porn on us.
I don't want to have porn thrown at me without my consent. Again, this is an art site, not an adult site. It's like... I feel at home here, I have known a lot of interesting people and amazing artists. It's like my house is being violated. I don't want to leave, but I don't want my home to feel wrong to me either.
It's even more degrading since new people will come here, see the ads and say "Oh, then this has to be an adult site after all".

I used to allow the ads on my FA, because it introduced me to new artists. However, when Dragoneer and all decided to allow IMVU to purchase FA and bring up these insane third party ads, I promptly turned my AdBlock plus on for FA. I do not want that garbage all over my page, especially when my daughter likes to watch me when I work and post art online! This is wrong in so many ways and they need to change it back!
