I did NOT sign on for this. My art is NOT adult in nature, and I don't want these ads showing up anywhere in association with it. I use the SFW filter, and Adblock...but what about those people that don't that mightstumble upon my work on a site that uses such ads? N.O. I don't want to leave FA, but I may have to.

While the ads dont bother me, they are dangerous and violate fa's own policies. We shouldnt have to sign this petition because they shouldnt be there in the first place

I wholeheartedly agree that the method of FA resorting to pornographic advertisements, poses a great risk to the cyber-security of individuals accessing their webpage, and therefore should be removed/replaced.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind smut. But yes, allowing advertising for real adult websites DOES contradict the rulings stated for FA. "Do as we say and not as we do" is sort of a poor business practice.

I do clean art and adult art and am skeptical on sharing my page with people now because they will see the ads and assume all people do on this site is...that. It's a furry art page and stipulated that the users dont post it, so why does the site do it again? >_<

If they could at the VERY LEAST allow users to select what sort of ads they want to see (general, mature, adult) I think that would be a fairly good compromise, rather then just expecting the users to deal with it.

If you want the outside perspective of the fandom to change, then not blatantly catering to a minority of the fanbase is a MUST. No more adult advertisement. Adult artwork is NOT the main demographic of FA, no matter how loudly the opposition claims otherwise. The presence of these ads violates FA's own rules!

Look, no one likes ads at all. No one wants to have stuff shoved in their face, but unfortunately that's how a lot of people make most of their living. Not saying "TAKE DOWN ALL ADS, OH GOD", but let the ones in OUR community benefit from this ad-space, as they already have been. Do not make them fight with this 3rd party, faceless entity. FA Was a place design for furries BY furries. We had ads for furry things, and those made sense, especially since a lot of them were not sexual in nature. Now, we have to feel MORE embarrassed as a community, now having that stigma of us being a 'perverted' people reinforced with these types of ads. It's not fair to a lot of us, who either are not into it for the porn, or think more of the community with more than our privates. Please help us change this!

This was a site I enjoyed. Now I have to be careful of who is around me when I'm on. I might have to just find a new sight if this keeps up, which is just upsetting.
