Remove Adult Advertisement from FA

This just smacks of a company that has bought the site with the intention of doing the community it serves harm. Very worrying for everyone in the community.

if you're going to make rules follow them just as you expect users of the site to follow them. Just because you are "in charge of" or own the site, that doesn't give you the right to pick and choose which rules you follow. You have to follow all of the rules just like everyone else does, because if you don't then what was the point in having them in the first place? correct answer: there was no point to having them in the first place if you're just going to blatantly break them anyway because you think you are above them. in addition you are breaking the law when you do stupid crap like this. I for one do not want to see people pay for add space for their art and then it get blocked because people (including myself) don't want to see porn adds.

FA should not have this sort of advertising on it. It makes the site look like trash and puts a bad name to furries, especially those who use FA for their business. Get rid of the ads now!!

I'm asexual, so I really, really don't want to be assaulted with nude people, and I don't want my family to see that stuff when I try to show them my art. If the adult ads aren't removed, I will most certainly using adblock, or else leave FA.

I really don't get how they're relevant. The site is for artwork, even if a lot of it contains pornographic subject matter. Not vice versa.

I love FA to death, and I don't want to see it go downhill to a shithole pornsite...

I understand they need to make money but this is the wrong way to go about it. They are just going to hurt the community more then anything and once away drive away its users. Although I do draw NSFW art time to time i do not consider myself a porn artist. I do NOT work from a porn site, but now i feel like i do. Not to mention not all adult or mature stuff is porn. A lot of what i draw is just adult content (mostly gore). So now when i post a horror gore piece there's going to be a bunch of porn ads all over it? do you know what kind of messed up vibe that puts out? even if there is ad block that hurts artist like me that has ads up promoting out art. and not everyone that stumbles across the site has ad block. Admiedly i dont mind the very tame ones that adverse adult content now - mostly ones for users on the site. but its the fear of real life porn being on there. not art but straight up real images of live action porn, gifs and pictures advertising places like pornhub. theres a time and place for that stuff and its not on FA. i have a hard enough time admiting im a furry and use FA. now i'll be more ashamed of it then ever. great way to drive people not only off your site, but right out of the fandom guys

Lets keep all advertisements PG. whether it's SFW or NSFW mode. Also, it would be my preference to keep advertisements FURRY FANDOM related.

I think FA has enough Adult material as it is without adds to other websites.

I understand that FA isn't family friendly, but it never felt sleazy until I started getting those ads. Advertisements of that nature belong on poorly-moderated, half-assed porn sites, not FA.

If we want this community to start being perceived in a positive light, strip away past perception, I think this is a good start.

I block porn ads on any other site I visit, why do I have to have it added to an ART site? I have children watching while I browse through SFW art, to show them that more than just 'Saturday morning cartoon characters' exist...
