Truly one of the great video games of all time, a testament to the artistry and storytelling that the medium is capable of, Final Fantasy VI deserved a remake years ago, but now that Final Fantasy VII is being remade, FFVI NEEDS a remake.

Final Fantasy VI is the greatest Final Fantasy of all-time (followed closely by FFIV and FFV). Please consider remaking this remarkable masterpiece that has been underappreciated for far too long in the shadows of FF7 (whose storyline pales in comparison to FF6 and is not nearly as in need of a remake as this wondrous game is).

The true reason for a remake is to expose the game to a new generation of fans that never got an opportunity to play the original, but cannot due to the outdated nature of the game. FFVI is arguably the best game in the franchise, moreso than FFVII which only gained it's popular through marketing and being the first FF game to become mainstream. Please remake the best FF game that the most fans of the series missed out on and bridge the generation gap.

FFVI is the best of the series and one of the old-school that need the remakes. FFV and FFVI both need to be modified as we had redos of FFI, II, III and IV along with an extension of IV. VI is in desperate need of a remake This coming from one who purchased VI on the PSN.
