I missed the Kickstarter by 2 days, and release information was vague. I love the game and don't want to be treated like my support of it is secondary. I purchased it despite the avalanche of negativity surrounding it's launch.

I am a huge horror fan, and for as long as they said they have been advertising this, I never saw anything on this game. If so, i would have bought in. But, this skin should be available. Set at a $10 price. Ill pay that.

I had no idea this game even existed.. I just learned about kickstarter also.

This should have been sold through Steam. Instead it was hosted on a 3rd party site that not everyone knew about unless you were a diehard fan. Locking away game content forever is a stupid way to divide the fanbase. It'd be different if it were an actual skin, but it is not. It is a new playable character with different skills and custom weapon. It's an inaccessible game mechanic locked by the dev's. The dev's created this controversy, THEY are the reason scalpers are selling these codes on ebay between 2 hundred and 1 thousand dollars. Ignoring your fans and the problem YOU helped create is simply foolish. Next time offer a color/swap instead of a game changing mechanic.

Normally, I would find it ok to have limited items, but only if they were cosmetic. Savini Jason is not just cosmetic, but has stats of its own that make it potentially better that other variations of Jason.

Exclusive ingame content is damaging to gamers in general.

I believe that digital content that is either limited in quantity or by time availability is not beneficial to consumers and is bad business practice. I do not currently own F13 but if the developers are anti-consumer, like this move to prevent any future DLC sales of this kind of content seems, I don't think I will ever buy F13, even on sale. If the developers release the skins for purchase, I can only judge the game on its gameplay. But currently, I hold both the gameplay and the developer's poor decision making in mind when it comes to my decision whether or not to purchase this game. And right now, it's a definite no-buy.

I agree 100% with bringing back dlc. How is Gun Media supposed to just announce a game on FB and expect everyone to know that you can go on kickstarter or backerkit to support the development of the game and get exclusive dlc?? I didn't even know who Gun Media or Illfonic were before the news about this game went mainstream. And also it's kinda sad how on Gun Media's website it says "Gun exels at crafting a brand and a message that rises above the noise". But they barely even marketed the game.
